Australia has very strict quarantine restrictions, in order to smooth the movement of containers through customs and quarantine guidelines will be issued to all container organizers once the process has been agreed. The main restrictions affect the frame materials, personal items and launching trolley wheels.

Failure to comply with the guidelines may delay boat arrival, incur additional costs and may result in items being destroyed.

Bikes, untreated wood frames and personal effects cannot enter Australia in the containers.

Fireball Australia and Fireball International are working with Australian customs and quarantine through our agents to minimise any likely problems.

Dave Coughlin at Tayper has offered to handle freight clearance and delivery to the sailing club for all containers coming from overseas.

Once cleared customs and quarantine the containers will be moved by side loaders to the sailing club eliminating the need for a crane.
