We’re excited to announce the social programme for the 2010 Fireball Worlds and for International Week. It’s chock-full with great events including:
- steel bands
- an Irish night highlighting features for next year’s event
- entertainment evenings by Mount Gay and Banks Beer
- a special reception evening with Barbados Prime Minister, Hon. David Thompson
and of course, plenty of great food!

I can confirm that the Prime Minister is very keen to welcome all of you sailors to this reception, we must also point out the effort that our Minister of Tourism has played in making this event a reality for Barbados from his appearance at last year’s Worlds in La Rochelle to being a day by day contact request updates on the progress of the planning of this Fireball Barbados Worlds 20120 event.
We are indeed lucky to have had the support for this event from the Prime Minister, the Minister of Tourism and many others in Government and also to the massive effort of our event Chairman Peter Marshall who has been doing a super job over and beyond the call of duty.
